upgrade to IOS 17 removed apps in Folders and on home screens

After updating, a lot of apps put into different tabs or folders are now gone. They are still on the device but just not on the screens where they were before the upgrade.

is there an easy way to get it back? Wipe the device and restore from backup?

iPhone apps now only show on home page....all the rest are in App Library? After updating to iOS 17, I noticed that all my 7 pages of VERY organized apps disappeared. Only the apps on the home page remain untouched. When I swipe to the next page, the App Library appears. WTF? And it not just me...it happed to my assistant and my husband. I want my old pages with the old folders back! Why would you do this?

iphone 15 pro max app folders disappeared I have had my new iPhone 15 Pro Max for two days. Everything had transferred over fine from my iPhone 12. I had three display screens of app folders, arranged with app subheadings like ‘Hotels’, ‘National Parks’, etc. yesterday my screens disappeared. The apps are all still in the App Library, but all my organizational folder screens vanished. My software is up-to-date. Help!

Even though I upgraded all the apps, They may not have been updated to support IOS17. Once updated is there a way to get back to the original screen layouts? Or do I have to rearrange all over?
