Stuck in ‘install now’

I am attempting to install software from my iPhone 11 to the iPhone 14 Pro. Everything was working fine until I got to Apple Inc. 3.1 GB and it just keeps spinning at install now for hours. Any ideas on how to go around this?

New Iphone Stuck on Install Now Software Update 17.0.3 I have a new iphone 13 mini and am transferring my old iphone 8 data to the iphone 13. I have tried to do this twice after waiting a really long time for the software update to complete, then it said, "install now" - well I thought I already did that which is what the progress bar was for? And now the wheel next to "install now" is just spinning endlessly doing nothing which is what it did on our first attempt. There is nothing wrong with my internet and my iphone 8 is up to date. What do I do?!

Installation failed can't install the software - A software update is required to connect to [iPhone] Does anyone know the answer to this issue? The required software update process downloads up to a point and gives the "Installation failed can't install the software" message. MacOS Monterrey 12.6, iPhone 12 Pro using one or two versions before 16. Ruled out MacOS software updates, using original apple cable, tried both USB ports on the Mac, forced restart the iPhone, stopping just shy of going for third party software, since this is Apple: I expect there to be a solution for this as soon as someone figures out what the problem is... Thank you!

Did you already try to restore from an backup, taken with your old iPhone, as explained in this article?
