What are you transferring from? An SSD should be fast; a flash drive will be very slow.

Slow Transfer mode file moving between 2 silicon Macs When transferring files via a Thunderbolt 3 cable between my MBP 2022 Silicon M2 and My Studio Pro M1 desktop computer in Transfer mode, the transfer rate is terribly slow. I expected much faster transfer rates between 2 Macs using thunderbolt3. Though it wouldn't transfer at ALL between My M1 and M2 Macs until I updated to Ventura V13.3. :-( Anyone else have any insights about this glacial transfer speed when using Transfer mode with the Silicon Macs?
