my Mac book air has a clicking sound coming from it !

as soon as I switch my Mac book air on it has a clicking noise coming from what sounds like behind the key board. it is a regular rhythmic click. its is approx 5 fast clicks quiet every 5 seconds. i need help x

Try and restart the Mac to see if the issue persists, if it persists it is most likely a hardware issue
