iPad connected to iCloud, not found on iPhone and won’t sign out of iCloud to reset

I have an iPad that hasn’t been used since roughly February. I turned it on and it’s connected to my husbands Apple ID, it isn’t showing in his phone and it won’t let me log out of Apple ID. The sign out button is grayed out. I need to get it to work asap but have been trying for 2 days.

This is most of the times due to screen time restrictions. Go to settings>screen time>content and privacy restrictions and turn those off. After that see if you can sign out now.
