Does Mac oS Sonoma support the mac OS extended filesystem still?

Hello. I know Mac oS Sonoma is coming out a week from Tuesday, and I have a question, does anybody know the mac OS extended filesystem is still supported? Has Apple removed that filesystem format from diskutility? Just thought I would ask before I upgrade when it comes out a week from Tuesday. I'm just asking this question because I'm not sure if Apple is going to remove support for HFS pluss anytime soon because I know they have there own filesystem now, APFS. Thanks
