I will not be able to pre order the iPhone 15 pro. I had gift cards to pay for the phone. I redeemed the gift cards into the apple account. When I was ready to pay for the phone with my apple account the screen says “ Apple account not available for this payment. Not enabled for in app payment.”

After contacting Apple Gift Card Specialist I am back at square one. I explain my issue to them clearly. They then created a shared bag for me with the specific iPhone I was purchasing and disconnected from the chat, never addressing the issue I actually had.

I am in the US. I am not in a Apple Sharing Family. The link specifically says I should be able to use this payment method. I will contact Apple gift card support.
Call apple and ask to speak with sales. I had to make the purchase through the phone. The apple representative was able to use the balance on my apple account without a problem.
Ultimately, I ended up calling Apple sales and was able to place the order through the phone. The sales representative was able to add the balance from my apple account balance to the order without any issue.
