Getting right to it.

old iPhone XS Max old icloud account. Don’t know password didn’t even remember password to get into phone.

is there anyway I can get verified to get into this account. I used my government name as the account email and I have my id to match.

icloud.com says to enter one of the passwords from phones I had years ago. Or enter my debit card information. I don’t know the passwords and I don’t have that bank anymore. So I called the bank and they were able to give me the card number and expiration but not the cvv number.

now I usually just say oh well it was on me forget it but I really want my stuff off this old account and hopefully there’s a way to get it. This has been a few months long process and I’ve just about given up on Apple. I know it’s not their fault but what happens when people get into accidents and can’t remember any thing and wants in to their accounts. Kind of should be a way to send in documents verifying identity. Besides knowing an old debit card number.
