Hi, I’ve got the premium version of this app on my Mac. It will not remove ADWARE.

I’ve got the premium version of this app on my Mac. It will remove everything except for the remaining adware. These are the errors it outlines:

There were errors during the deletion process.


Errors:

The operation couldn’t be completed. (kCMMalwareLaunchAgentModelDomain error 101.)

The operation couldn’t be completed. (kCMMalwareLaunchAgentModelDomain error 101.)

The operation couldn’t be completed. (kCMMalwareLaunchAgentModelDomain error 101.)

The operation couldn’t be completed. (kCMMalwareLaunchAgentModelDomain error 101.)

"/Applications/BasicVirtual.app" couldn’t be removed, because you didn't authorize this operation.


I’ve given the app full access in privacy settings, what could the issue be?

Uninstall CleanMyMac per their directions , then run etrecheck again to see what chaff it left...

CleanMyMac is the problem. Feel free to search these forums with the problems associated with the App by clicking the search button on the top of the page. The app itself is borderline Adware as it will use deceptive tactics to get you to spend more money for either an upgraded version of the app or to install additional software to fix an issue you do not have.


Removing the app is another issue as the developer does not want the app to be easily removed from your system. More information can be provided depending on how you want to proceed.
