Since updating my iPhone Siri has casual “grunt” responses. C’mon! It’s bad enough getting real people to speak clearly ….. now artificial intelligence? Please fix it. At least give a choice?
Siri’s “grunt” is a protest that you aren’t using it correctly. If you don’t pause after saying Hey Siri and just ask your question Siri won’t grunt. Siri’s response is sort of like your friend would say if you said, "Hey Joe…" and didn’t continue.
So say “Hey Siri, what is tomorrow’s weather” rather than “Hey Siri…:” grunt “What is tomorrow’s weather”. Siri is smarter than you are giving it credit for.
Lawrence is 100% correct. And we can't fix anything because Siri is doing what Siri was designed to do. And this is a user to user only forum. We aren't Apple, nor did we design iOS or how Siri responds. So, we can't give you a choice or fix it. It's not broken anyway. Simply don't pause after waking Siri up. There, it is fixed.
Totally dislike casual Siri responses. How can they be changed?
