How to unlocked carrier sim

go to settings > General > About then scroll down. This will show if the phone is sim locked or not. if it is, you will need to contact your carrier to unlock the phone

Unlocking the Carrier SIM:

Contact your Carrier. They need to unlock it. As to why it's locked, you'll have to ask them.
