Successfully Updating an iPhone:

A. Troubleshooting an Update not Responding:

B. Update Using a Computer:

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 17

You have installed the beta version iOS 17.

Installing iOS beta version is at your own risk.

iOS 17 version has not been released to the public, so you have to wait.

We are not allowed to discuss about Beta version here.

My automatic updates is now set to off, which I usually do not do. I do use Norton VPN that has not previously been a problem when updating. When I try to change to on for update, I get an error message saying Unable to Check for Update. I have plenty of space - around 97 gb available. REbooted too.

Turn off the VPN. Restart the phone and try to run the update. If you must use VPN, turn it back on after the update.

There is no reason to run a VPN on an iPhone unless your employer requires it to connect to their servers.
