Spam email
HELP i read article recently regarding spam emails is it correct we can forward these to spam@icloud.com to have them stopped from sending to you

Yes - and no...
For spam email that you receive to an Apple mailbox (e.g., yourname@icloud.com), you can report these to abuse@icloud.com.
For other spam or unwanted email messages that your receive through another email provider (e.g., yourname@hotmail.com), you will need to look for any spam-handling measures that are offered by your email provider.
