I tried to update my Macbook Air M1 to MacOS Ventura 13.5.1. When it restarted, the screen was blank, though the keypad lights were on. I contacted Apple Support and was guided through the reboot, but it didn't work. What could have caused this? Any one here with the same experience? Thank you!

One thing you might try is to reboot into safemode to allow the os to automatically run its diagnostics which will look for and fix many problems. Then boot back in your default account and verify if fixed.
