How do I change the email that appears under my name when I click on the Apple ID section of settings. I recently changed my Apple ID as I got a new email but my old email is still appearing.

Successfully Assigning your New eMail:
Log back in to your old eMail address. Then, log out of your Apple Account on it. Then, perform the change.
Note:
It's the same ordeal as to when you purchase a used device, and the seller never logged out of their own Apple ID on it, prior to selling it to you.

Assign a Method of Payment:
Do you have no Method of Payment assigned to your account? To download an app (free or paid), you need to have a Method of Payment assigned to your account. So, add a Method of Payment.
