i tried to restart my Mac as it had old pictures and old memories on it. Now that I did that it’s stuck on a screen that has a question mark, I try to use command r and it doesn’t work. Can someone help me? I don’t want to keep old memory on it I want it to be brand new.

yes it will not work even after I follow the steps it will get to wifi and freeze on it every time now. It’s a 2019 version and I haven’t been on it since about 2020, so I’m not sure if that’s the issue or what’s going on with it, but nothing is working, it’s freezing and nothing else
