Download all Apple Pay transactions

Is there a way to download all my Apple Pay transactions in one shot? I'm looking in Wallet and it only allows monthly which is a hassle. I'm trying to log into the website to see if there are other options there, and getting a "service not available" message even though there's nothing posted on Apple's system status page. This is frustrating.

Anyone know how I can download all my Apple Pay transactions without having to do it monthly?

EDIT: and if you're one of those users who posts boilerplate answers to every question here, please don't bother.

Yeah, I’ve resigned myself to going through those numerous steps to get it every month. Apple was always known for making things easy and intuitive but apparently the Apple Pay/Card team never got that memo. This is just bad design and puts a lot of needless busywork on the user. It’s a real nuisance for those of us who track our spending and finances.

Going to answer my own question. Looks like Apple didn't give Wallet/ApplePay users an easy way to export all your transactions, for whatever reason. You have to do it month-by-month and the steps are a little ridiculous and time-consuming.

Here are the steps.

  • Open Wallet
  • Tap ApplePay
  • Tap Card Balance
  • Scroll down to statements
  • Tap whatever month you want to export
  • Tap Export Transactions
  • Select format (CSV, for example)
  • Tap Download icon
  • Select Save to Files
  • Find a location in Files and Tap Save
  • Back up to the monthly list of transactions
  • Repeat these steps for each month

When you're done, find the CSV files you exported and then manually copy and paste them to combine. (If you're a Unix user, you can open a terminal window and cat them, but the header row will get repeated and you'll have to manually clean it up.)
