It does state.... Updating Library and underneath is says 100% complete but then the Pop Up box states 'The library could not be opened. Photos was unable to open the library "Photos Library". (4301). Why has this suddenly happened and how can I access my photos?

Thank you for your response. I did this and also updated my software and it’s now, thankfully, restored my library.
Turned my MAC off and turned it back on today only it won't open my Photo's Library.
