Basically, you start by accessing your Outlook account via a browser and changing the password. Note the new password. You then open the Outlook app. There should be a sign-in link at the bottom. Enter the new password. Back out to your inbox.

Seems a bit drastic a measure just to change your email password, but I scoured the net and could not find any other way that works on iOS 17. And it worked perfectly. Thanks a lot! :)

eventually on the home screen , it will ask you to change the password. It Will provide you a link to the settings.
