How do I get the weather app to always stay on “my location”

How to fix Weather app location issues post iOS 17.4.1 Update Phone automatically did a software update and now my location disconnects from the weather app every 5 minutes and only allows me to use location once or whilst on the app. Spoke to senior people at Apple and all they could come up with is to factory reset my phone. iOS 18.2.1 location services bug for Weather, Calendar, and Maps Apps iOS 18.2.1. iPhone apps (weather, calendar and maps, in particular) always asking for my location. I will select « always » and it’ll automatically change back to « while using the app » or « never » this means that weather on my Lock Screen and my widgets never work. I have tried updating, restarting iPhone, deleting and redownloading these apps in particular, resetting location services, etc. Nothing works. this seems to be a bug that still hasn’t been fixed for over a year now according to what I’ve read. Has ANYONE found a solution ? I’m becoming desperate as this is REALLY annoying. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

On your iPhone or iPad

Turn on Set Automatically in Settings > General > Date & Time. This sets your date and time automatically based on your time zone.

If you can't change the time or time zone on your Apple device
