i have to try to bend the cable a certain way and tape it in place to get any charge. I have looked for lint in cable site. It is getting to the point that it doesn’t want charge anymore. Is there a decent wireless iPad charger? Seems like they are mostly for phones. Thanks for any help.

Unlike recent models of iPhone, no models of iPad support wireless charging.
As described, either your charging/data cable has been damaged and requires replacement - or your iPad's charging connector has itself been damaged and will require repair.
If replacing the charging cable to not resolve the problem, you would be best advised to seek assistance from the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP), where your iPad and charging cables can be tested and assessed. 1. Go to Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple
2. Go to "Get hardware help".
3. Select your hardware and continue selecting options requiring replacing parts until you see "Bring in for Repair"
4. Sign in with your Apple ID
