I have a child's ipad that is in family sharing and I can not remove the device from the list as I need to send in for some repairs per https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201557. Help!
I need to remove it per this link.
Anyone have any idea on how to do this?

You have to turn the device OFF/make sure it is offline before the option to remove it will appear on icloud. They should really be including this in the instructions everyone has out there!
