I have been sent pdfs to my email and when I try to download them, it doesn’t do anything.
it starts to download, then goes back to saying ‘download’ as though I hadn’t pressed it to download.
this is a recent thing

Do you mean open?
Ask the sender to send it again in the correct format. Some pdf files open only with Acrobat Reader.

Hi, where is says 'tap to download' nothing happens. It is simply that circle saying 'downloading' then reverts back to 'tap to download' again and again.
This is an old email, so I can't ask to send again - plus I have had new emails with pdfs attached, but still the same issue
There are few pdf files which can only be opened with Acrobat PDF Adobe reader. Download the PDF reader from the App Store.
