Make sure you are following the steps in the resource linked to your post, If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library

If you have followed the steps correctly, your subscription did not lapse at any point and you still have the issue, make sure you are singed in with the same Apple ID:

"If you already subscribe, just sign in with your Apple ID

1. Open the Apple Music app.
2. If you see a trial offer, tap Sign In in the upper-right corner. Or tap the More button , then tap Sign In.
3. Enter the same Apple ID and password that you use with Apple Music."
