Not able to use Apple TV to watch german stations

I love to watch my german TV stations through apple TV. Lately I'm unable to watch ARD Mediathek. It plays fine on my Ipad and Iphone, but when I switch to Apple TV to watch it on my TV, I'm unable to do this. ZDF, another german station, works fine.

I contacted ARD and they did all kind of testing and came to the conclusion, that it is the Apple TV. It's up-to-date and so is the app for ARD. I have no idea how to get my ARD back. Maybe someone has an idea.

well ARD made the app apple did not, if it was me then I would try to

cut the power to the appletv and also the wifi router and let them power up again and see if that helps

otherwise maybe delete the app and restart the appletv and then reinstall the app

I did all this earlier before I contacted Apple Community. ARD had all kind of questions and after that suggested to contact Apple. It's not on their side.

Like I said, I can get the program on ARD, but as soon as I switch to AppleTV, I'm getting the following:

"An error has occurred loading this program. Please try again later".

I have exactly the same issue… some of the Tatort shows play fine on Apple TV and others I get the same error message you posted. I’m looking forward to seeing if anyone finds a good solution. [fingers crossed]
