iPhone Mail Unsend feature

When I send an e-mail via my iPhone, I usually swipe up to close the app after I hit send. I couldn’t figure out (until recently) why my e-mails would vanish. Then I discovered the unsend button is right where I swipe up. I was inadvertently hitting “unsend.” Can I turn this feature off? Change its location or something else. Thanks

Emails disappearing when closing mail app - iOS 16 - Undo Mail Send Issue Using Mail on an iphone on iOS 16, I have discovered that some recipients are not receiving the emails. I have since discovered that if you send an email, then close the app moments later, the email dissapears and has not been sent ...this has happened several times. It seems that it is to do with the 'undo send' option in the Mail app as it is waiting for 10 seconds for you to undo the send. At no point have I clicked 'undo send'! Surely I shouldn't have to wait 10 seconds before closing the app? if I do close the app within 10 seconds, surely the mail should send, or at least stay in outbox (or drafts)? This is a flaw in the 'Undo Send Delay' function, there is no way the emails should be unsent and deleted as I clicked 'Send' and then closed the app after I asked for it to be sent. If go to Settings > Mail > Undo Send Delay and set it to 'Off', then the issue is resolved and mail will send even if you close the app. Is anyone else experiencing this strange issue?

Unsend Send in mail app in a bad spot I have now accidentally not sent an email 4 times because while swiping up to close my mail app I’ve accidentally hit undo send at the botttom of the screen. I was wondering what was happening and finally figured it out, I’m trying to be more cognizant of it now but when you are moving quickly it’s easy to forget. Perhaps it would be possible to move the undo send button somewhere else within the app? Just a thought.

iOS Mail "follow up suggestions" continue even after disabling The Apple native mail app still displays old sent messages in my Inbox even after disabling the "follow up suggestions" (Settings > Mail > turn off Follow-up suggestions). To rule out an issue with mail provider: if I go to my inbox via web browser I cannot reproduce the problem. Of course, I can swipe + dismiss the 'suggestion' for individual emails but would rather disable globally to prevent this in the first place. Have restarted, deleted email account + readded, disabled lockdown mode, etc. Open to any suggestions, thanks! iOS 16.5 iPhone 14
