Beats Solo 3 sound is choppy on PC

I want to use my Beats on my PC, but the sound is choppy, it comes in and out. They work perfect on my iphone, so I am assuming it's a PC problem. Everything is up to date, I ran a blue tooth troubleshooter, but nothing seems to be helping!!

Windows, Windows 10

Ok, thanks for the update. FWIW, I came across the exact same issue, only that it was with my AirPods and Mac mini. In my case the mini resides inside a cabinet that is part of my desk. I found that just by moving my head slightly, the sound would become choppy or drop out altogether. Moving my head slightly again brought the sound back. I ended up moving the Mac to a "better" location on the desk and completely eliminated the drop-outs.

Not saying that this would resolve the issue for you, but may be worth a try. However, it also reminds me of an article I read before related to this topic with PCs. I will try to find it again, and post it to see if it can help.

"Choppy" would indicate possible wireless interference that may prevent a solid Bluetooth connection between the PC and your Beats. Bluetooth operates on the same wireless range as 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

Three things to consider:

  1. Where is your PC located in reference to your wireless router?
  2. Do you have other Bluetooth devices nearby and/or paired with this PC?
  3. Is the PC situated so that it may be blocked by a desk, shelf, cabinet, etc.?
