Apple Books - Book Series Not Available

Hi, wondering if you can help me understand or look to give some hope.

My wife and I started watching a series on Crunchyroll, Rent-A-Girlfriend, and we really like it and decided to look to purchase the manga to read.

I’ve noticed the manga series only goes up to issue 12 on the UK Apple Book store but I have checked the publishers website and they state the last 8 issues (out of 20) are available on Apple Books (but not the UK store).

Is this something Apple looks to update or something to do with rights with the publisher?

I’m curious because Amazon Kindle has all the digital copies available to purchase.

I don’t want to begin investing into the series on Apple Books to find out they are not releasing anymore.

Is there a way I can find this out?

Update to this. I never received a reply back from the publisher but I have noticed the rest of the series is now available on Apple Books in the past 48 hours.

Not sure if this was helped by my email or, most likely, just a licensing approval situation from the publisher.

It's the publisher who decides whether and when to put their stuff in Apple's Book Store, so best to contact them about it.

Thanks for confirming. I had a feeling that would be the situation, so I’ve contacted them as well and just waiting for a reply back. Hopefully, it will be good news. Thanks for the reply!
