Spilled mineral water on my Macbook Air

Hello. I poured a quarter to fifth of a bottle of mineral water on my macbook air m2 15''. The keys and speaker are in good condition and working. When i went to an apple technical servise this morning, they told me, ''Even if it goes inside the keys, there is a part that will prevent it from going to the motherboard.'' I dont know what to do. The computer is fine but I'm scared. Any tips for me?

Take it to Apple for physical evaluation. This community is not capable of diagnosing physical damage either real or imaginary.

What's happened has happened and you can't turn back time to prevent it. The very best you can do is "watchful waiting".

Thank you so much. I'm really scared becuase the computer is new. I bought it 2 days ago. Mineral water was not that much but I'm scared as i said, you can understand me i guess. I really dont know what to do. I did not use the computer for 13-14 hours. As i said, i went to the technical servise and they said ''We should take your computer for 2 weeks.'' Should i give the computer? I really dont know what to do.

I did it but they say 'we can not look the inside of computer.'' Then i went to other technical service (apple) and they said ''nothing will happen for now'' but they didnt look it as well. They say ''You should give us the computer for 14 days if you want us to have a look to your computer'' I dont know what do to. Should i give the computer? My computer is fine for now. What do you think?

I know, not "think", that water damage is often extensive and ongoing due to corrosion. The computer needs to be examined by an authorized service center. If the examination will take 14 days that is what it will take. I would not use the computer until it is examined and cleared by an authorized service center.

I had the liquid spill problem with my MacBook Air 15" 4 weeks ago. It was charging and the keyboard was lighting and nothing else. I waited for about 8 days to dry - still no luck. I was disheartened - a 7 month old machine just died. I learned from Apple Website the warranty doesn't cover liquid spill. I didn't buy the AppleCare service either. After a bit of thought, I made an appointment with our local Genius Bar. The greeter seated me on a long table. On the other end two apple workers saw me but continued to chat and laugh. Finally one of them came to me. I told him that I had liquid spill issues with my MB Air. He didn't even touch the equipment and said it will cost me $1100 to fix it. I knew that it will cost me a lot but wanted to find out how much - but did not expect what I heard. I left the store with disappointment due to the attitude of the tech. I realized that I bought the MB from Bestbuy. I wanted to see their price to fix it. In contrast to the Genius Bar worker, the Bestbuy Geek squad person was sympathetic and created a paperwork to ship the unit to their Mac service center. He said will have to pay $85 for the diagnostics.

12 days later, I received the unit with screen and battery replaced. It gets interesting - they charged me nothing!

In the future I will buy apple products only from Bestbuy. They also have discounts that you cannot get it at the Apple Store.
