I want to stop the contacts from appearing on all five of our phones multiple times. We all have different Apple IDs but we are using family sharing. It will not allow me to toggle off contacts under iCloud because of family plan settings (I control my children’s contact, but I don’t want their contacts on my phone). But our similar contacts (Grandma and auntie for instance) are showing up five times on our phones.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. With Family Sharing, as long as you are not sharing an Apple ID, your contacts should remain independent of each family member in the group: Make sure that each family member has a unique Apple ID - Apple Support
