Calander invites won’t go away

I have been getting these and trying to delete. To think something as simple as a extended hold to get the CUT choice. Why does anyone who trys to explain forget to add that little small inocuous bit of info about long press!!!???!!!

OMG!!!!! The cut and delete worked after over a month of trying to get this thing off my calendar

I purchased an I phone 15 and this invitation popped up on my calendar (same day of purchase)for later this year that was some sort of scam and no matter what I couldnt make it go away . I pushed decline a bunch of times and tried to delete but no luck . I did the cut option as suggested and it worked to get rid of it . I’ll update if it comes back like some people said .

It didn't work with cut, but after I used the cut feature it appeared again but with the 'delete' feature as well.

I did “cut” the event but it still showed on my calendar. I then clicked on the event again and was able to see “delete” at the bottom of the page. Finally the event was gone!
