I’m streaming music to 3 audio devices using airplay, all good. I then browse twitter or Facebook and the audio from every bloody video is sent to my stereo and HomePods, replacing the music I WAS listening to! Basically when I use airplay, my phone is unusable if I want to continue to listen to music. How do I set apps to NOT play audio over AirPlay? And just play their audio on my iPhone ????

The same thing happened to me! It was working perfect forever. Now it sucks. Twitter turns off my music in my speaker when I want to listen to Twitter on my phone. If anyone comes up with a solution let us know. Thanks
Any fix for this? I’ll AirPlay music from Spotify or pandora or Apple Music (doesn’t matter what music app) then open tumblr app or safari or ESPN app and ads will stop my AirPlay music and play the ad. It will still do it even when I disable the ability for the app to access my local network. What the ****?! Why is this happening? It’s SUPER frustrating!!

For me it always worked correctly. Ex: while streaming Spotify via AirPlay that sounds comes from to the Apple TV and at the same time viewing a video on my phone the sound comes out of my phone. But after the latest software update I’m having the same issue.
edit: the issue only happens when trying to view a video from twitter.
