Only the first video from an apple music playlist plays with AirPlay, the next only plays sound on the TV

Only the first video from an apple music playlist plays with AirPlay, the second one plays on the phone screen and just the sound is heard on the TV. I need to disconnect and reconnect with Airplay in order to see each video. Is there a solution? Tested with iphone 13, 12mini and three different LG webos TV’s

Hey VI666,

Thanks for getting back to us with the requested information. It's appreciated.

Since AirPlay should play continuously, we'd like to have you make sure that your Wi-Fi network is using these Apple-recommended settings: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points - Apple Support

If they were, or adjusting them didn't help, please make sure that interference isn't the culprit: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference - Apple Support

If you're still having this issue after trying those steps, please reach out to Apple Support: Get Support They'll have the needed tools to look into this issue further with you.

All the best.

Hi VI666,

To identify the best path forward additional isolation of the behavior you're experiencing would be necessary to narrow down relevant components. Try the following:

1) Test AirPlay with other content types and apps to determine if this only happens with Apple Music videos or with different types of content over AirPlay.

2) As you indicate that all the TVs used are of the same brand, test with another TV or with an Apple TV device to see if the TV model/software may be a factor.

3) Verify that all of the devices in use are on the latest available software and firmware, and restart all components.

4) Create playlists with other music videos, with a smaller amount of videos (say 2 or 3), and determine if any other combination of factors provides the expected results.

If not able to narrow down the issue using these steps, contacting Apple Support directly to investigate may be necessary.

Regards.

Hi Bill_T1,

Thank you for your response

1) Videos in the photo application work correctly.

iPhone 13 (IOS 16.6.1) -> LG 43UM7450PLA (webos 05.30.40)

iPhone 13 (IOS 16.6.1) -> Macbook air M1 (macOS 13.5.2)

2) Same problem with Apple Music videos

iPhone 13 (IOS 16.6.1) -> Macbook air M1 (macos 13.5.2)

iPhone 12 mini (IOS 16.6.1) -> Macbook air M1 (macos 13.5.2)

3) Verified and tried without effect.

4) I created my own playlist with two videos. Only audio can be played via airplay.

Iphone 13 (IOS 16.6.1) -> LG 43UM7450PLA (webos 05.30.40)

iPhone 13 (IOS 16.6.1) -> Macbook air M1 (macOS 13.5.2)

5) Macbook air M1 (macos 13.5.2) -> LG 43UM7450PLA (webos 05.30.40)

In this case, my own playlist and the default playlist "Music videos" can be played correctly

It seems that the problem is in the IOS devices
