My son is 15, he’s got his own debit card and bank account, as this is normal in Poland, but he cannot add card to the wallet cause Apple is blocking that. How to unlock this functionality? Why this is still blocked if accounts already shows him older than 13 year old.
Does you son have more than one Apple ID? Is the iPhone you’re trying to add the card to logged into the same Apple ID that is part of the Family Sharing group? Is Family Sharing etc. setup? Is the age associated with the Apple ID he’s logged into have the age set correctly?

Update the birth date associated with your Apple ID - Apple Support
Please log your son out of his Apple ID, do a forced restart and then log back into his Apple ID Account. Once logged back into the account, try to add the card.

the error is even when we click “add card” then we get “Cannot Add Card, payment cards are not supported for this account”.
I understand it was maybe valid before he turn 13, but now he is 15 and still the same problem, while Banks are authorising kids over 13 to have bank account and debit card.
it looks odd that apple is still blocking that
He has only one Apple ID, the iPhone is logged to the same Apple ID that is part of family - his only Apple ID is part of Family sharing group. The age in family sharing is showing correctly, his account was setup according to real age.
Now I’m considering new account, with fake age, to stop this ridiculous problem, but the problem is he has things linked to existing ID like game accounts etc.

We log him out from current Apple ID, did the forced restart, and now we cannot logon to Apple ID , in the way in settings option to logon is not reacting, when you click it- there is no dialog box showing to logon, not reacting.
Please try another forced restart and then, once iPhone has restarted, try logging back into your son’s Apple ID.
If you can’t login, please contact Apple Support directly at 1-800-MY-APPLE and review your issue. You may need to request an escalation of the issue. Don’t be bashful in requesting an escalation. You need a resolution to the issue.
