Turn off music in Photos Memories

Turn off music in Photos Memories was last posted little over a year ago. The suggestion was to give feedback to Apple. Turns out there was a ‘none’ option in iOS 15 but not iOS 16.

If anyone has found how to stop the music please leave you answer here.

Thank you,

This response doesn’t answer the OP. The issue is stopping the automatic playing of music in any memory. Especially if already listening to audio. I get the immersive experience but sometimes (usually) I can look at photos & don’t need audio. I’m another who wants a global off switch for music with memories

(the link above is about tweaking an individual memory not global audio options)

This step does not seem to REMOVE music from a specific Memory. It only gives you an option of changing it to a different song that is pre-selected by Apple. How can we either mute the music but HEAR the voices on the video clips. How can we add our own music from our Music App to the Memory — seems that you must subscribe to Apple Music to be able to customize a Memory from your own music. Is this correct? Previously, we could add music from a playlist.
