My Apple mail app organized all my incoming emails from all my accounts into a folder called “all inboxes.” Today, I must have hit something as I can only see this folder in light gray, but cannot open it. Now I have to check each individual email account for incoming emails. How can I get the “All Inboxes” folder working so that all incoming emails are in one folder?

You can add it back in—
remove the mail box if necessary, then add it back
move your mouse to the right reveal the +
Control click for the contextual Menu>Remove from Favorites.
Still have an issue, Quit Mail and relaunch it holding the Shift key down and try again...
