Apps not showing up on Macbook

Why can't i find basic apps on my 2018 Macbook Air? i just got it refurbished and i cant find apps like youtube, netflix, tiktok, instagram, basic apps like this. please help.

Those apps are not on Mac. You have to go to those sites through a browser.

Can't find common apps in the app store for my Macbook First, I'm a new Macbook user so I'm still learning my way around. But when I try to find common apps for my Macbook for example, Google, GMail, an app for the Daily Mail news, YouTube, etc., they don't show up. Cannot view purchased apps on App Store for macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra When I try to use the Mac App Store with my iMac, the app does load the home page, but will not show the top bar that shows the trending, updates, purchased, you know all that. I'm trying to get to my previously purchased apps so that I can download apps through older versions (which isn't easy to do, you can't just search for the app and click "get", it will show an error). Here is what I see on my end. Hope someone can find a fix.

In addition, even if there were third-party apps for these things, those third-party apps would not be pre-installed on a clean installation of the operating system.
