Clean reinstall of apps on iPhone

I am trying to do a clean reinstall of an app called Kidslox on my child's phone. I have tried deleting the app and restarting the phone. I have gone into the iCloud backup settings and the app is not showing there. Every time I try to reinstall the app, the blue cloud with a down arrow is showing and the app is repopulated with the original unwanted data.

Deleting iPhone apps from iCloud I used the top instructions to delete apps from iCloud. Alas, it deleted app from my iPhone; and the apps are still in iCloud???? Background. Bought iPhone 16 in mid-November 2024 and had problems while AT&T sakes set it up. ATT and Apple acknowledged the iPhone was defective, PROMISED a replacement iPhone FIVE times, yet did not replace until LAST WEEK. Apple Genius Bar tech, yesterday, said what is in my iCloud account since last November (also computer sync/backup) likely is corrupted. Therefore, start with new apps, etc. when I try to get an App from the Apple store, it defaults to iCloud download. Suggestions welcome. rdj ac user since mid-1980s. My first Mac is shown below and still works! To me it represents what Apple once stood for - high quality and excellent supports/service.

Lost milage app data on my Iphone. Is it possible to restore just one app from the iCloud backup or must all be restored. I lost my mileage data when the Apple Store suggested I wipe my phone and only reinstall the purchased apps I needed.

If you are not restoring from a backup then the data that you are seeing is from the App itself.

Please log out of the app before deletion. Then delete and re-download.

iCloud or iTunes backup does not store the app. It only stores App data which is encrypted and can be seen.
