Changing Device Name
I have an iPad and an iPhone, which both come up as iPhone 2 & 3...I want my phone to say iPhone and my iPad to say iPad! I've gone into settings>general>about and changed the names but they aren't staying.

To change your devices name, checkout this article: Change the name of your iPhone – Apple Support (UK).
After you changed it, it can take a while to see that the name is changed on all your devices.
If you still aren't able to change the devices name,
contact Apple Support.
