Apple Card - not receiving emails

Anyone else have issues receiving emailed communications from Goldman Sachs/Apple card? My current email address is in the format of my first name underscore my last name @ hotmail.com .... apparently the system does not like the underscore .... I have tried EVERYTHING from calling multiple times, chatting, and even reached out to hotmail. All say there should be no reason I am not receiving the emails. This is quite a problem as I have had a couple of chargeback purchases that I literally lost because I did not "reply" to a request in time so they sided with the bogus merchant plus I literally never receive statements. I did reach one rep who indicated it is kind of a known that some "formats" in email addresses can cause issues such as this and that I would have to 1) change my apple id (which is this email address) 2) close my current apple card 3) reapply for a new card .... the reps always just change me to "paper" but even then, by the time I receive the paper communications it's been too late.


I could really use some guidance if anyone knows how to rectify this.

This is the one and only email address ... it is my apple id ... it is the email I set the account up under ... it is an active functioning email I use every single day... All one and the same.


Prior to sometime in 2022, I had no problems ... received all emailed communications just fine. But at some point right after receiving my Dec 2021 statement notification, the emails all stopped.
