Vibration Alerts for Non-Native Apps
Hello, I'm Deaf, so I use the iPhone's (current model is iPhone 13 Pro) vibration alerts to alert me of incoming messages and texts. I have several non-native apps on my iPhone, such as Wyze, Proton Mail, and Watch Duty, and none of them have a vibration option. How do I turn on and customize the vibration alerts for non-native apps? Doesn't Apple permit non-native apps to use the iPhone's built-in vibration alerts? It is very important to me as a Deaf user that I be alerted to incoming messages and texts from the non-native apps, especially for emergency alerts from local authorities. I need to be able to customize the vibration options so that I can use my Deaf equipment with the iPhone (ex. I have Deaf equipment that allows me to set my iPhone on it and when the iPhone vibrates, it flashes my Deaf lamp and shakes my bed, waking me up when there is an emergency). This is an accessiblity issue. Please advise me on how to turn on the iPhone 13 Pro's vibration alerts for the non-native apps. Thank you.
