what if i turn off optimised battery charging?

I don't charge at the same time daily. so I thought what if I turn off optimized battery charging so that it might charge quickly rather than not waiting for a while and then charging to full? would it be a useful option? or I just leave it on and charge it at different times daily.

iPhone 13, iOS 16

For future reference...

Troubleshooting iPhone Battery Charge:

A. Battery Drain Info:

The iPhone battery will drain if powered on, unless it is plugged in and charging. With lots installed, the charge would be slower. As for how fast it would drain the battery, that would depend on the battery health and the volume (sound) you use.

  1. Go Here: iPhone Battery and Performance - Apple Support
  2. Scroll Down: to "Your battery's maximum capacity"

B. Verify the Baterry Health Percentage:

Apple recommends you get a new battery, once the Battery Health reaches 80% or lower. When the Battery Health is 80% or lower, it is time for a new battery. Unfortunately, these if no way to know how, nor when, then percentage decrease occurred. So see if it tine for a new battery...

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Tap: Battery
  3. Tap: Battery Health
  4. View: [the percentage]
  5. Is it 80% or less?  If so, it is time for a new battery.

Apple doesn’t use that charging optimization when your charging schedule is inconsistent.

Per Apple: Your iPhone uses on-device machine learning to learn your daily charging routine so that Optimized Battery Charging activates only when your iPhone predicts it will be connected to a charger for an extended period of time. The algorithm aims to ensure that your iPhone is still fully charged when unplugged.

Turning Off Optimized Battery Charging:

Given the circumstance, either using that or chairing it whenever your like would work. I always charge it when it his 40 or greater. I never leave ti below 40%, for safety reasons. You should consider doing the same.
