Shortcut to turn charging optimization to none and limit to 80%

Yes this is exactly what im trying to do, i would even like to find a way to add it to the action button. When i press Action it go straight to the option to turn 80% limit on or off a automation would be sweeter. But it look like everybody saying it cant be done 😩

yep by switching to the "80% limit" function available on the iPhone 15 under Settings -> Battery Health & Charging -> charging optimisation you can, even when you're phone is plugged in to a charger, stop it charging to 100%, get your sarcastic brain around that!!!

What OP wants, is a short cut that when he's in the car enables that function, in the same way I could automate my phone to switch to low power mode when i connect it to CarPlay if i wanted to.

Yes I’m looking for this too. I’d bet a ‘proper’ solution will come up in another forum. I rarely find a fix to anything outside vey basic things here.

The fastest way is to make a Shortcut with open link " prefs:root=BATTERY_USAGE&path=BATTERY_HEALTH "

The only thing you can do is the option of shutting down device when battery rises above 80% while charging to prevent it to charge above the given percent
