Pop up warning

I keep getting a pop up warning about my iCloud being hacked. Then a second warning about a virus. It is obviously some kind of malware, but I am not sure how to fix it.

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 12.6

Assuming you are using Safari, open Safari > Preferences… > Websites > Notifications and empty the list.

I tried the process listed above-Safari>Preferences>Websites>Notifications and so far, so good. Be sue to eliminate the "gear" icon with the small red spot attached to it.
