Issues on creating a text replacement for word and input pairs in Japanese keyboard

I have referred this apple support web page to create a text replacement for word and input pairs. I followed it but my phone (iPhone 14 Plus) showed error message: 'The shortcut cannot contain any Chinese', however I was using Japanese Keyboard.

Thank you for your help.

From a data point of view, Chinese and Japanese han characters are the same, so Apple has presumably just chosen Chinese to refer to them in this case.

This sounds like a bug that Apple would have to fix. To let them know, use

Product Feedback - Apple

The same bug appeared earlier this year in MacOS
