Music Disappeared
I purchased a song in November 2019.
I download all of my songs, rather than playing off the cloud, because I use my music often without internet.
I realized today the file has been removed entirely.
i talked to apple support: they explained an artist can remove music at any time, but claimed a downloaded file cannot be removed.
That is not true. The music is gone entirely.
They have provided no policy or disclosure.
I’m confused how music can be removed with no policy, no notification, no disclosure, and especially no REFUND.
Sounds like there is no such thing as music ‘purchasing’ - it is only a temporary at will rental.
The whole point of purchasing is permanency. I do not have any desire for streaming.
if there is no longer permanency in music purchases, eliminate the purchase option altogether.
Please tell me what I am missing.
