Unless I'm missing something, I am unable to find a way to resume a show that I've had to pause part way through. It's very frustrating to have to restart a show or soccer game and fast forward 1/2 way or even further to continue watching. Anything I'm missing?

Partially watched content should be listed in the Up Next row, with a progress indicator line.
Either the app isn’t saving your progress as account data properly (online), or something is amiss with your account itself.

Oh my gosh this has been driving me crazy for many weeks, until I saw your post. I restarted my Smart TV, signed out of my Apple TV account and signed back in, and it seems to be saving my progress now. Thank you for the tip!
I had this issue and it drove me crazy until I simply signed out and back in again. The next time I watched a show it saved my progress.
