Hi,

The following reply by Matti Haveri may be of interest to you.

Samsung ML-1640 laser printer (usb only) - Apple Community

I do not know whether the described workaround for newer system versions is needed for macOS 10.15 as well (if not, the ML-1860 driver from the Samsung Printer Drivers v2.6 for OS X may work directly). Perhaps Matti Haveri will see this, and could provide additional information.

Generally speaking, be careful when downloading printer drivers from the Internet, There are several dubious third-party "support" sites, often with misleading names. Make sure that you download from the printer manufacturer or from another trustworthy source (such as Apple).

What year Mac? My 2015 iMac 21.5" runs Monterey beautifully. Maybe you need to upgrade if you can.

When you say "it won't work', what exactly do you mean? What error message, if any, did you get?

Per here the printer is no longer available: https://www.samsung-driver.org/2020/01/samsung-ml-1675-driver-mac.html

There may not be a driver for it if Samsung has discontinued it and is pushing a newer model as the site says ... see yellow highlighted comment..
