Videos (like YouTube) fast forward or backward by itself

This just started happening to me. I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro

Happens to me 24/7 videos always being fast forwarded, and same with screen double clicking by itself and cling or even holding down the screen in cases.

Didn’t start happening until i got my screen fixed.

Have you fitted a screen protector, or are perhaps using a fitted case that incorporates a screen protector of some kind? Some poor quality screen protectors and fitted cases have been known to cause issues with screen touch-responses - including “ghost” touch inputs.

Go to settings on your YouTube make sure your playback speed is normal just had to change mine from x2 back to normal try that

Ok me too on my ¡pad dose this a lot and I’m sick and tired of it it ruins the vids I try to watch someone be a hero and give us a solution for this please!

This happens to me on an iPad Pro 12.9” 2TB M1. I find that if I pause the video and unpause, it plays at normal speed. Has happened sporadically for several days. I use YouTube in Safari and not in the dedicated app when this happens. I’m also up-to-date on iPadOS.

This is happening to my phone as well. But I noticed it’s when I hold it with 2 hands and put tension on it like squeezing the 2 ends together. If I hold it lightly it’s fine. Completely gay

WTF? What’s the answer. Two days ago. Same playlist. YouTube. Now same artists are like crack addicted rabbits playing acoustic guitars on stage. Answers?
