Can't move videos to desktop from iphotos anymore

I think the new procedure about Mac not importing photo stream as of July 26th has impacted my video import process. I can no longer move my videos from photo libraries to my desktop. I can more photos but not videos. Hey Apple folks. . . . these are my photos from my new iphone to my Apple desktop. WTF???!

This is impacting my daily income as of today!! Please fix.

Can't save videos from files to photos anymore I want to save a video from my Google Drive to my Photos App. In Google Drive you can download the video. It says "Saving to Photos". But once the snackbar menu pops up, there is no option to save it to the Photos App. This behavior was like that for since forever. But there was an update some time ago, with that you were able to save the video directly to the Photos App. But since this doesn't work anymore, I went back to the old way. First saving it to the files app. Open the video in the files app and save it to Photos App from there. But here the same problem. There is no option to save it to Photos. It looks like apple removed that in one the last 3 iOS updates. If so. Why? If not. What am I doing wrong?

Missing imports from library Ios 16 and Mac 12.5.1 I'm trying to import my pictures to my mac and I noticed after importing that not all of the photos appear in my Mac's photo library. And its not like it the newest photos either that are missing but there is a chunk between months that are gone (so it uploaded some photos from August but skipped a bunch and then uploaded the beginning of September). I tried importing the specific missing photos into a new photo album but after it finishes "uploading" it takes me to the imports. But the photos aren't there nor in the album I create to import them specifically into. I also noticed that in the column where you can click between seeing your imports and the devices connected to the MAC that the photo library under imports is different from the photo library in devices which is also different from the photo library under library. This is all very frustrating and was wondering if anyone else is having this issue and how they resolved it.

Can you prevent "Already Imported" photos from showing up on the Import screen in Iphoto? When I plug in my Iphone 12max to my 2009 Imac running El Capitan to download into Iphoto, already imported photos appear, and before I can download new ones, over 3,600 thumbnails of already imported photos have to populate. Sometimes it takes forever. Is there a setting that can be changed to keep "Already Dowloaded" photo thumbnails from appearing on the photo import screen. None of those photos are still on my phone. I use Iphoto on my old Mac to download photos because I don't like Photos on my 2019 27" Imac; it's nowhere near as versatile in my mind.

You can drag and drop from Photos on your Mac directly onto your desktop. Or, select and export the video to your computer.
